Group Activity

Take a private flight to experience white water rafting in the Dominican Republic’s Central Mountain Range! The tallest range in the Caribbean.

From Punta Cana’s warm, tropical climate, we’ll fly you to Jarabacoa, also known as “the city of eternal Spring”. Nature smiled on this jewel of a mountain town, nestled some 1700 feet above sea level, with mild temperatures, among dense pine forests and endless mountain peeks in the distant horizons. Jarabacoa, meaning “Land of Waters” in Taíno Indian dialect is bathed by three important rivers: Baiguate, Jimenoa and, most importantly, the Yaque del Norte – the country’s second longest river that offers amazing white waters for rafting!

First, our experienced staff will instruct you on the proper usage of the equipment and explain brief safety rules and regulations. Then, it’s time to “man up” and take on the Yaque del Norte River’s famous rapids! You’ll enjoy photo-inspiring views from inside mountain canyons that can only be appreciated by those who brave the river’s rush. In the calm moments between the white water, look around at Jarabacoa’s impossible beauty and know that few tourists get this view point of the Dominican Republic.

After rafting, we’ll enjoy a hearty Dominican buffet at a beautiful mountain ranch. To wind down this adrenaline filled day, we visit the Dominican Republic’s only butterfly conservatory – The Papillon Garden. This local sustainable program, with support from the Dominican Environmental Ministry, seeks to educate the public about Dominican butterfly species. At the conservatory, we’ll learn about 7 species and better understand their metamorphosis from caterpillar to butterfly.

Fly with us to the Dominican Republic’s prized mountain town of Jarabacoa for a once in a lifetime experience.
